Location and Facilities

TALC Academy is located just off Brant street in Burlington in the former Mountain Gardens Public School. From the QEW go north two stop lights and turn right onto Mount Forest. Go one block to the three way stop sign. Go through the stop sign and turn right into the parking lot. Come to the main doors (near the flag pole) look for the door with the tiger. We are on the second floor of the building.

The school and property were purchased by the Burlington Christian Fellowship in 2002. The Burlington Christian Fellowship is our landlord but we do not have a religious affiliation with the church. We are a non-denominational school and offer admission to all children of all faiths.

The school is situated on over three acres of land and includes large open fields and a black top play area.

 

We have the south wing of the building which is approximately 20, 000 square feet on two floors. The school includes a dedicated science lab, a double room library, a computer lab, drama and games room, an art room and an indoor activities room. The activities room is used for indoor physical education activities such as aerobics, yoga, floor hockey, dodge ball, skipping and other indoor games. Our classrooms are large and air-conditioned.
